With your bachelor’s degree in animation from Westwood College, you’ll have the skills to work in the exciting field while doing what you love to do. And your courses are as interesting as your career will be—with classes that incorporate audio/video technology, laws of motion and drawing with general education. Business classes provide you with important skills in critical thinking, logic, communications and problem solving that will help you address workplace challenges. You’ll leave qualified for entry-level positions, like web animator, 3D animator/graphic designer, desktop publisher or flash designer/animator.

Game Art

Anyone can play a video game. The real challenge is having a role in creating one.

With a bachelor’s degree in game art from Westwood College, you’ll be able to do just that. In our program, you’ll develop the skills to apply core knowledge of art and animation techniques to the game and interactive software industry. We emphasize traditional 2D artistry, 3D modeling and animation, while you also learn how to apply critical thinking, logic, communications and problem-solving skills in managing challenges that occur in a game development environment. When you graduate, you’ll be ready to take on an entry-level position in the game art industry, such as a 3D character modeler, lead artist, quality assurance game tester or a graphic designer.
